Name and description updated for “Population in Linguistically Isolated Households”.

Indicator name and description have been updated to reflect changes in the 2014 American Community Survey documentation. Specifically, the terminology has changed from “Linguistically Isolated households” to “Limited English speaking households”. The characteristics used to identify these households are unchanged.

New map and data table now available for the Population Receiving SNAP Benefit indicator from the US Census Bureau’s Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates (SAIPE) Program.

New data from the Census Bureau’s SAIPE program has been processed and released. New estimates are based on 2014 SNAP program data, replacing previous estimates which used 2013 program data. Affected Indicators: Social & Economic Factors Population Receiving SNAP Benefits

Correction made to US-level numerator and denominator values for Diabetes (Adult), Obesity, and Physical Inactivity indicators.

New estimates for the 2014-2015 school year were acquired from the California Department of Education (replacing estimates from the 2013-14 school year).
